Halloween Time at Disneyland Resort

Running from August 22 through October 31, Halloween Time brings enchanting seasonal décor, including the iconic giant Mickey Mouse pumpkin on Main Street, U.S.A. Throughout the parks, guests will find three thrilling Halloween-themed attraction overlays in Disney California Adventure Park: Luigi’s Honkin’ Haul-O-Ween, Mater’s Graveyard JamBOOree, and Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark. Disneyland Park features the fan-favorite Haunted Mansion Holiday inspired by Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Beyond the rides, visitors can enjoy special character encounters with Halloween costumes inspired by the 70th Celebration, the dazzling “Halloween Screams” fireworks show on select nights, the interactive “Mickey’s Trick and Treat” stage show, and Disney’s Happiest Haunts Guided Tour. For those who love a good challenge, Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit offers a resort-wide pumpkin hunt with collectible maps and keepsakes.

Fall-themed treats such as Oogie Boogie lemonade and jalapeño-cream cheese bread are available throughout the resort, complemented by exclusive merchandise like the Mickey Mouse Family Halloween Collection. Plaza de la Familia: A Colorful Día de los Muertos Tribute

From August 22 to November 2, Disney California Adventure Park hosts the return of Plaza de la Familia, a vibrant celebration inspired by Pixar’s Coco. Guests can enjoy lively music, dance performances, themed craft activities, and authentic Mexican cuisine at Paradise Garden Grill. The street show, The Storytellers of the Plaza de la Familia Celebrate the Musical World of Coco!, beautifully honors family bonds through song and storytelling.

This popular separately ticketed after-hours event returns to Disney California Adventure Park on select nights from August 17 to October 31. Tickets go on sale June 26 to the general public, with early access for Magic Key holders.

Oogie Boogie Bash offers family-friendly fun with a spooky twist, featuring unique merchandise, specialty food and drinks, the return of the “Frightfully Fun Parade,” Villains Grove, and exclusive character encounters. Ticket holders enjoy perks such as shorter wait times on select attractions, digital photo downloads, and access to a pre-party park mix-in. For an extra special experience, guests can book the Oogie Boogie Bash Dessert Party, which includes preferred parade seating and curated treats.
